It is a very good site. Here you can add connections and connect to professional people. Here you have to add your skills. Many times top companies are looking for person who has some specific skill they require and they contact that person and offers better job. Here you can increase your business contact. Mainly this site is use for business purpose and professional persons.
It is not like other social media websites like Facebook, twitter. Though the basic features of all social media site are same. It is user friendly as other social sites.
I have my account on this site since last 4 years. I don't spend my time on this site as I spend on other social media site like Facebook and twitter.
