I had my account on Linkedin from the past 4 years but was never active on it, but ever since I started working I have came across many people who have got very good contacts and placements through this website.
I have been quite active on Linkedin for the past 5-6 months and now I have network among top executives in various industries. Its an amazing website wherein you can showcase your skills and also get recommendation from friends and also join groups of your interest to discuss the topics of your choice.
Ever since I have been active on this website I have got a lot of good job offers as well, so if you dont have a linkedin account yet, go create one.
The only drawback is its not much user friendly and beginners might struggle a bit to use this website
