Like many here, my wife too learnt driving from the Santro Driving School in Koramangala, Bangalore. It’s true, sometimes the driver is not present at the fixed time. But we weren’t cheated because our house is literally next door to their office. So nowhere to run for them! And we bargained to reduce the rates through a neighbour of ours who knows them well.
But yes, ladies be careful. My wife’s first driver slowly started flirting with her. Then she got angry and asked for another driver, which initially they refused. Her driver would even call her and ask why she wanted to change. Finally they agreed after my wife insisted. But now this fellow sometimes wouldn’t come on time. Anyway, finally she got through her classes.
Even for getting license done(which is part of the package), they took almost 3 weeks to get the license from RTO and give it to my wife. We even went there and blasted them couple of times.
