I visited Lavasa in the June first week. This place is easily reachable from Pune in about 1.5 hour drive. The Lavasa is a newly constructed town with villas on the roadside and beautiful colourful hotels facing lakeside.
I really liked walking on the lakeside promenade which has lot of eateries and also option of water sports and cycling. It is very peaceful and recommended if you want to just chill, relax and do nothing. The climate is always pleasant and cold especially in the winter and monsoons. Must visit place for relaxing and unwinding.
