We went to OOTY and came back by KSRTC Airavat Club Class on 24th - 27th Sept 2015.
I had traveled by KSRTC Airavat about 5 yrs back.
Their services have deteriorated. They have become pathetic over these years.
Here are my points:
a) They run late. They reached 2 hours late in OOTY, reached 4 and hours late in Bangalore(on my return journey). Shouldn't they update the same in their website?
b) Water poured in from roof when it rained(on both the journeys). The worst part is that the employees were indifferent. They told us - nothing could be done even if you got wet. Since they were Govt employees, they lacked professionalism.
c) When coming from OOTY to Bangalore, they were stopping at different places to attract new customers for the seats lying vacant. That added to the delay.
d) When they finally arrived @ 10:30 PM at night, when it was raining, they stopped the bus out of Shanti Nagar Bus Depot, forcing passengers to get wet and run for shelter. The human touch was missing considering the fact that there were many kids, there were many passengers with luggage.
So friends, use at your own risk. Their employees are really ill-mannered
