I was forced to open an account with this bank because it was a salary account from my company.
BIG mistake.
Their internet banking facility is terrible, with many "features" unavailable most of the time. Even their "Mail Us" link is broken!!
Any time I try to do anything with my account online, I get the message "**We are sorry, we are unable to carry out your instruction, currently. Please try later.If problem persists, please contact our 24Hrs Customer Contact Center for assistance.**"
Naturally their customer service is as useless as their internet banking. They're never aware of the problem and want me to wait for a while to fix it.How ridiculous is that? Is this Kotak Mahindra Bank's way of retaining money in-house in these times of recession? By not letting their customers bank with them?
I am pretty close to simply recommending to my company to take their entire corporate salary account elsewhere. I'm sure Kotak Mahindra Bank would sit up and listen if they lost 300+ customers in a few minutes.
