I got so many emails and messages n alerts to register with Kotak Mahendra bank. One day finally I installed this app in my smartphone and started registering for Free bank account instantly But as I was inserting my precious information and I felt as if im just a step away from creating a new bank account, it asked me to enter Aadhar Number. As I inserted Aadhar Number it showed me all my bio data and asked me to confirm it's me. I did so with an OTP on my Aadhar registered mobile number. Once I confirmed that it said Sorry We don't Offer Banking Services in your area.
Its okay if they dont offer banking services in ones area but I didn't understand why they ask for Aadhar details instead of just a pin code in the beginning so that users won't feel anything like compromising of their precious data.
Recommendations : I strongly advise people not to Register for a bank account via this app.
