Khajjiar is a very beautiful place in Himachal. I visited this place with my friends in the December last week. This place is a beautiful meadow which has a circumference of around 2-3 kms making it ideal for romantic long morning or evening walks with your partner. Khajjiar is surrounded by dense deodar trees and one can view beautiful snow capped peaks in the winter.
There are not many options to eat here and getting pure vegetarian food can be a problem. Accommodation is no issue but the best place to stay is Himachal tourism's guest house which give amazing views of the meadows. Kalatop sanctuary is a nearby attraction from Khajjiar. This place is best suited for couples and honeymooners as it is very peaceful and calming. The climate is always pleasant with December being coldest. This place, is truly the mini Swiss of India.
