I purchased this system in august 1999. Its been 6 years now and I get a wonderful quality when it comes to CDs. Its just 1000 watts PMPO. The casette player is totally gone now but the cd and the radio quality is still amazing.
i have connected a 5.1 sub woofer system for further quality and it works... I get a good amount of base from the main woofers and the sub woofer attached, where as the 5 tower speakers are handling all the high frequency sounds. I have also attached a DVD player to the Kenwood and the 5.1 system.( Lucky.. I have those many ports to connect on my DVD player). This setup gives me a 5.1 DTS effect with again Kenwood handling the Power Bass.
My friend purchased a 3000 watts Kenwood.. no idea about the model.. from Singapore. Even that one is a cool system.. You cannot compare any system the bass it produces. Kenwood is one of the best brand to go foe mini-component systems.
Hoping they are making customized home theaters.. If anyone knows .. please let me know....
