After about 15 years with Zero B water purifier and thoroughly dissatisfied with their service, I decided to invest in a new system. I went with Kent RO this time. I called up Kent RO and they gave me their dealer's number in Bangalore(Kent has several dealers who are responsible for sales and after-sales service). I asked around in my friend circle and got another dealer they were happy with. So I went ahead with their dealer called Pure Water House.
The installation of the equipment was pretty swift. They seemed like professionals and I had no difficulty in getting thie installed and working.
Within 7 days of installation, it stopped working. We panicked. One of the big reasons of why we moved from Zero B to Kent RO was service and this was a new system and it stopped working in 7 days. I called up the guy who had installed the equipment and he came very promptly and fixed the issue. The issue was with some connections inside the equipment. We thought that that was a freak and random case.
It stopped working 3 days again. This time, the system is not showing any lights and it seems like either the electronics inside is all burnt or it may be the same loose connection again. I have called the engineer and hopefully he will show up today.
But this now clearly points to a poor quality product. My sole reason for investing in a new unit and with a new brand was to save the hassles and that is exactly what I have gotten myself into.
Hopefully this is also a random and case and once it is fixed we will all be happy but this is very disappointing to say the least.
