Torture of life. Review on Kambakkht Ishq

I chose this movie to go over New york and we sat munching the pop corn in an almost empty theater. That itself should have raised alarm but I decided to give this movie a benefit of doubt. Then the torture started.

The move starts with Akshy kumar as a Hollywood stuntman and a playboy luring womens. He is against marriage and commitments. Then he is shocked that his dear friend Aftab is getting married to his sweetheart Amrita. Well Amrita has a friend Bebo who thinks just like Akshay and does not believe in marriage. They both storm into an empty wedding chapel and confront their friends and advise them against marriage.

There Akshay confronts Bebo (Kareena) and they both throw their jabs at each other. Then all of a sudden the movie shifts to a clown (Javeed jafri). Following the theme of Salaam namaste this idiot tries to get rich by suing some Tom, Dick or Harry. He threatens a roadside vendor by accusing his hot dog sandwich (What a crap). Then he gets into an accident and is apparently very happy because he can now sue the driver for millions of dollars.

Kareen is actually a doctor and her doctor friend is about to conduct an operation on this clown. But then she is told that she needs some money to participate in her lucrative first operation (I don't know where did the director got this idea). So she calls up someone and aks whether the modeling assignment she rejected is still available, So she can help pay the money/fees to conduct the operation. Our Bebo gets the modelling assignment and she is on her way to Paris. Our Akskay is also on his way to paris and lo and behold they get next to each other in the Plane.

I look at my watch and I realize that I have been watching this crap movie for 45 minutes. I decide enough is enough and I walk out of the theater with my wife. Thankfully I get tickets to the movie New york and I watch that movie to the end and I go home happily.
