Browsing for a party-wear dress for a function in 10 days; we landed on an item on their online store. checked delivery; checked size. we were happy. All were available. we quickly placed the order. We talked to the tailor; they assured delivery within 4-5 days. We were tension free and stopped looking for other options.
7 days later; when we asked about the status of our order; they whatsapp image of a completely different product and said there is a 'slight" difference. The product looked like footpath quality.
Notice there is no "cancel" button in the website. So we couldn't cancel the order. No one was replying to our calls and messages. finally one customer support person replied and tried to tell us that we are blind and cannot see they are the same product. They kept trying to say; how can you tell when you haven't received the product? Just let the product reach you and try it. maybe you will like it. you can return in 15 days.
After an hour of bashing heads with them; they finally cancelled the order. Been two weeks still waiting for refund. I will now have to file a case against them.
This is a company that runs the scam of either looting you by selling substandard footpath products at sky high prices if you can't tell the difference or keeping your money and making profit on interest till you return the product. This is why they want to waste your time more and more. or maybe just outright steal your money.
Not to mention the mental torture we went through trying to get a replacement dress from elsewhere in 3 days. No one ever delivers this quick. No Boutique will stitch this quick. And even shopkeepers can't get dresses selected from catalogue that quick. Blessed be the Obscure newly established shopkeeper we had never gone to before who managed to do so. And also had his friend shopkeeper arrange perfectly matching accessories. all at a reasonable price. Kalki is such a bad company it should be officially closed down. This is clothing version of naaptol.com. I wish there was negative rating so I could give them minus 5. Don't ever buy from Kalki even by mistake.
