Isn't it enough sad for all the cricket fans for not being able to see this sports icon in the mega-event like World Cup ? Indeed, it is.
Jonty Rhodes. As the name clicks your mind you can very well relate him with cricket. The best fielder in the world.
A sportsman who has set a trend in the world of cricket.
A cricketer who has become icon and role model for all the forth coming players.
A person who sets the highest standards in fielding.
A batsman who has performed at the middle order several times for the South African team and winning the games.
A contribution of atleast 25-30 runs either through bat or field is 100% guaranteed by him.
Just take the example of yesterday's match between South Africa and New Zealand which SA lost. The fielding by the SA players were surprising. Surely he was missed at the off side. When he is on the field it is enough for other players to keep their spirit high.
It is indeed a bad luck for SA team and fans of cricket who are desperately going to miss him in this game of entertainment.
