I booked tickets for my wife and son for their journey from Nagpur to Mumbai by Jet Konnect flight. I called up Jet Konnect's call center to inquire about excess baggage.
I was surprised to know that:
My call was attended after 10 minutes of wait period. I could hear lot of giggling in the background while Jet Konnect's executive was talking to me. This made me think that customer executives were free but not responding the calls immediately. I am sure I was put on hold unnecessarily for such a long time.
There is no luggage allowance for infant although Jet Konnect charges Rs.1000/- as infant fee.
There is no way to add excess baggage online. The only way is to pay at the counter.
Jet Konnect charges Rs.250/- per kg of excess baggage. Other popular (which are good too) low cost airlines charge Rs.500/- for 5 kg if excess baggage is added 2 hrs prior to departure.
I just wonder what era Jet is living in. Will never travel by Jet Konnect.
