Earlier buses were only the means of transport fr travelling to Itanagar but since last 1 year trains have also been introduced .there is only 1 train in a day and it is overcrowded and u cannot really get a ticket fr reservation in 1 day.it takes around 8 hours to reach Naharlagun where the Railway station is situated.after reaching there are only 2 buses which leave after half an hour.the roads in itanagar are somewhat okay .shopping in itanagar is quite expensive.as a whole cost of living is very high in this city.
