Bad place to shop for household goods. Review on Indiabulls Mart, Pune

I used to like shopping for my grocery at Trumart store (Now Indiabulls Mart) when I started residing at Hermes heritage in Pune at Shastri nagar.

Recently few months back, chain of Trumart stores which belonged to Pyramid retail group was sold off to Indiabulls group which was then re-named as Indiabulls mart, this store is not worth shopping now and I frequently come out dropping my shopping basket seeing the pathetic condition of store inside.

Following are my observations about the store

1) Perishable food items are kept on shelf with production date above a year old

2) Cold storage area is hardly kept cold

3) Vegetable section is never kept clean, you can spot flies humming around your face as you pick up veggies, enough to prompt you to get out of the shop

4) Air conditioning in the store is mostly kept off

5) Shaving, beauty, cosmetics, oral care goods are kept on shelf which are beyond expiry date

6) They were running a payment counter for few days which did not have bill vending machine and did not issue bills to customers from that counter

7) You may never find the products you are looking out for and I normally go to a nearby kirana shop to buy things for the house now.

8) On complaining to staff about old stuff being sold from the counter they hardly react and the store manager is never available 9) Fruit juice packs are sometimes puffed and look tampered and old stock is not phased out I feel someone from FDA department should pay visit to this branch of Indiabulls mart and check the kind of hygiene level they have maintained in the store, would never recommend anyone to shop from this store
