Don't Get Cheated by Idea. Review on Idea Mobile Operator

I recently relocated to a new state and subscribed for idea postpaid connection leaving behind my years of  trustworthy provider Airtel. A week later I found another unknown connection also in my name. I went to dealer and they informed some 'technical issue' and promised that the connection will be cancelled by afternoon. I also informed same to customer care thrice (they charge for these calls, Airtel never did).

Always told we will call back or disconnect in 48hrs. Customer care has been pathetic. Unlike other service providers, Idea cellular don't maintain nodal officers and have fake returning emails for appellate. The appellate authority phone numbers given in the website for Kerala was also never reachable. In short the moment you take a connection you are at their wish. I am totally fed up and learned a big lesson on never patronize any product by seeing their fancy advertisements. Waiting for 3 months to pass to port my number to other service provider.

The only way to resolve dispute with Idea cellular will be consumer court. They cheat and squeeze out customers in various ways to pay for Abhishek Bachchan's ads. Learned a big lesson from experience with Idea.

If you want peace of mind, never ever take Idea connection.
