Over the website of Idea there is no mention of activation of International roaming for a Rs. 3000/-. However they ask for so. Moreover Idea charges a sum of Rs. 505/- for international roaming. Even there site says that packs are inclusive of applicable taxes. GST: 18% on applicable values. However they charges tax.
It is simply loot by Idea with unethical practice. Moreover, you literally have no solution available for these. Looked upon or solution at Website of TRAI, got to know that is most unhelpful site. Similarly Idea helpline/ emails are of no use. A call to Idea customer care may consume your twenty minutes and with no solution. Many a time I have found that customer is more aware than representatives at Idea call centre.
Best solution is don't go for any post paid plan from Idea. And international roaming from Idea as Post paid- Never Ever.
