Hai to all, I have been using Idea connection since two months now and I am definitely not pleased with its service, let me first make it clear that I live in hosur and my mother house in athipalli like bangalore road, hosur, i have also been visiting other places and no matter whenever I go Idea fails to charm, Even through these cities aren't metros, they are pretty well developed and have 3G connection associated with Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, these networks provide pretty good service here but Idea some how fails to deliver the same, The review of mine is solely based on my experience as a resident of hosur, i don't know about the other area of tamilnadu.
There are unending issues I have been having the Idea ever since I bought it,
Network problem:
sometimes I wonder how can a company this big and someone who has been in the telecommunication sector for so long how be such resistant to proper network, forget 3G, the 2G network in my area sucks the life outs of me, its only when I am in the top most level of my house, which in actutally the 1st floor, the network some how looks promising, otherwise accessing the internet through Idea is a big NO!NO! from my side, not just that, in our area, Idea has an anti to this tower thing, even if the network shows fall, internet speed of Idea is horrible when it comes to 2G, I mean its unbearable who even google takes 5 mints to open, and now this another problem, every now and then, the network completely vanishes all of sudden, and the company is in takes to launch 4G in our area where, unfortunately even 3G is a pain in the neck, but good data plans and poor connection.
Customer service:
Long awaiting customer care of Idea, its like waiting for a train at an station, no matter when you call, they are always busy and take 15 minutes to answer your call, installation of a few more working towers would be a honey on the cake.
so I will not recommended anywhere Idea mobile Operators.
