2014 was a very good year for HTC. Their flagship device One M8 is considered as the one of the best device in that year and still is a very good option for most of the smartphone buyers out there. It came with Android 4.4 as the default OS and have been upgraded to Android 6.0.1. Even though HTC have stopped the software updates for the device, many custom roms based on Android 7.1.2 are available for the device.
Sporting Snapdragon 801(msm8974) processor and 2GB of ram it still performs very well on both the stock settings and on the various custom roms. One M8 have a dual camera setup at the back. The secondary camera is used for various effects like 3D picture, duo effect etc. Primary camera has 4 UltraPixel resolution. The selfie camera is of 5 MP resolution.
The unibody metal design makes the device a tank. People with clumsy hannds can definitely get this as the build quality is top-notch. There are 2 antennae lines for reception which blends very well on to the device. The volume rockes and power button has no issues while clicking and is of good quality. If you ard looking for a device which is cheap is of good quality, then One M8 is for you!
