I have an HSBC account in Bangalore. Its a year now and I dont even have a single good thing about them. I was with other banks and thought to try this in my new job.
The staff is so arrogant and thinks they are big dad to all. One lady even told on phone that you people 'please' do whatever you want and I dont even care about it. She was mocking the customer through out the call.
Even a small address change takes a month for them for a customer. Have a very crap internet banking site which can be used anywhere.
Lot of hidden charges which you will have to request them to credit back by writing mails inside internet banking which requires you to generate security codes for 3 times.
Please never ever try to open an account with HSBC. Not even worth a penny.
