Print on and on. Review on HP Deskjet printer D4168

The  is a great workhorse. One great advantage is that it has native PCL support which means it doesn't have to rely on a host-based printer driver. I find its capacity is closer to 250 sheets compared to  its 300 specified but this is still plenty. I have printed well over 1000 sheets so far on the cartridge I was supplied. the only minor complaint about this product is that the sheets of paper curled slightly when being printed on. I must stress that this was only when printing full color sheets and they soon flattened out afterwards.

I would definately say that the speeds quoted by the manufacturer of mono and  colour speeds of 14.2ppm and 11.2ppm are pretty much spot on. I have not had any spooler issues with this machine even after networking up to 3 computers. My ultimate gripe with this printer is its random cleaning cycles, which leave you twiddling your thumbs in anticipation of your print. Apart from that it is a great budget printer and I would reccomend it for casual users but not for offices.
