My stay at Haridwar wasn't exactly what I expected. Since it was New years eve, I pre-booked my stay at Sun city for 1 night at a whooping price of Rs. 1300. I was fine with the price as the pictures I saw on their official site had me convinced. The Room wasn't spacious at all. It was a tiny room with a double bed, two sofa chair & a table kept at a corner. Since I had two bag, I was finding it difficult to keep them on the floor as the room was very congested. Room service was fine & there were pro active which was the only plus point. Rates were damn high as a normal paneer butter masala was priced Rs 250/-. A cup of tea is priced Rs. 40 whereas I can have the same tea from CCD at a similar price. Ambience & decor can be overlooked as I don't expect a 2 star hotel to have a classy interior. Value for money? I don't consider so. They have charged Rs. 1300/night which is high, quite high & if you order food from inside your room, it will eventually burn your pocket. You can always look for a better option than this.
