Well I booked this hotel via goibibo for one night mar 27 to mar 28 only to visit agra with my husband and baby.
I got the room 201. Since this is a 3 star hotel. So I expected to have following amnities but I didnt get these
1) electric kettle
2) bathroom sleepers
3) dental kit.
Also considering other amenities. I see
1) TV remote was not good enough kept on pressing the buttons but was very diffcult to change the channel.
2) AC was not good . I see Fan at full speed was better than AC.
3) Considering bathroom accessories, only one soap and one sachet of shampoo were provided. One soap was provided on basin to wash hands.
My husband discussed the issue with hotel Manager and he was told that since hotel was booked via goibibo with lesser amount paid. Amenities wont be provided irrespective of 3 star rating of the hotel. If I could book the room with higher amount then only I could have used the more amnities. He threw everything on goibibo.
Now my concern is should I ever use goibibo then in future?
So does it mean hotel will provide the basic amenities based on the payment and channel they receive? I dont know about other hotels but this does for sure.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone then.
Well good things were that Reception, staff and other members were very polite and cooperative.
Tajmahal is only 4 to 5 Kms away from this hotel.
