I was on a Uttarakhand trip this january & I had a train to catch from Haridwar Rly station to Old Delhi Rly station on my last day of the trip. I was searching for a decent & budgeted hotel near'Hari ki Pauri' in Haridwar when I came across this Hotel online. I had too many baggage's & I needed to dispose them somewhere before I could catch The Ganga aarti in the Evening. Coming back to the Hotel, it is situated in a corner which makes it very difficult to spot. Luckily I had my GPS working & some tips from the localites helped me to spot the place. The room was just too small, congested & dirty. The bed sheets were not changed & it had colored spots on them. The TV wasn't working & I had to ask the receptionist to change the remote. I had my Food outside as I felt it wasn't hygienic at all. Ambience & Decore can be nullified from the equation. The only saving grace was the bathroom which was tiny but clean enough. As a matter of fact, I have seen & stayed in better budgeted hotels than this. I was charged Rs 480 for one night. Luckily it was merely a few hours for me as I had my train scheduled to depart that night at 11'o clock. Was it worth? I would say NO. If one can shell out a bit more than Rs 500, he/she can get a better option than this.
