This was the first time that I was misguided by Lonely Planet.
The only thing true from the book was that the hotel has an impressive stone
facade.
The following are the absolute put offs
The rooms stink(the carpets have not been cleaned for ages)
The staff is always bent upon fleecing you.(They try their best to avoid paying back advance made for room reservation)
They claim the rooms have good view(The only view available is a dirty terrace of adjoining houses)
Even the road leading up to the hotel is in absolutely bad shape
The plates and utensils in which they serve food is not washed properly.
The hotel does not have room service after 10 p,m or before 7 am.
They also do not provide hot water as their website claims.It is available only for 3 hrs in the morning.
Overall a horrendous place.
Go there if you want to waste your money.
