I recently visited Hotel Atithi’s Roof Top Restaurant in CIDCO, Aurangabad, with high expectations, especially after hearing some good things about its ambiance. While the place offers a great environment and courteous staff, the food taste was not up to the mark, and that definitely affects the overall experience.
?? Ambience & Location:
The rooftop setup is visually appealing and provides a pleasant open-air dining experience. The lighting, table layout, and general décor make the place perfect for casual dining or family gatherings. It’s also an Instagram-worthy spot, and I will be uploading a few pictures taken during our visit to support this review.
????? Staff & Service:
One of the highlights of the visit was the polite and responsive staff. They greeted us well, took the order on time, and checked in with us during the meal. Their friendly attitude added a positive touch to the dining experience. For a family dinner or small celebration, their service can be considered reliable.
??? Food Quality & Taste:
This is where the restaurant fell short. The menu looked promising with various dishes across cuisines, but the actual taste was disappointing. Some dishes felt bland, and the spices or flavors seemed either underdone or inconsistent. For a place with such a beautiful atmosphere, the food really needs to match up. It wasn’t completely bad, but it didn’t leave us impressed either.
?? Hygiene & Cleanliness:
No major complaints in this area. The tables were clean, the cutlery was well-maintained, and the washrooms were decently hygienic. That’s a basic yet important expectation met.
?? Value for Money:
The pricing is slightly on the higher side compared to the food quality. With better-tasting dishes, it could absolutely justify the price. Currently, it feels like you’re paying for the ambiance more than the food itself.

Final Verdict:
Hotel Atithi’s Rooftop Restaurant has the potential to be one of the best rooftop dining places in Aurangabad – but only if they seriously work on their food quality. Everything else — service, atmosphere, hygiene — is on point. I genuinely hope they improve their kitchen performance, because I’d love to visit again if the food gets better.
