I bought the original City when it came out almost 10 years ago. Hated the truly awful replacement that Honda tried to foist on me. Yeah, it had good milage but the original City was a driver's car.
Just tried out this new model for a week. If I was going to buy another car it might be this one.
What's good:
Handling
Gears
AC
The paddle controls for the stereo
USB and iPod compatibility.
The engine
Legroom is pretty good, with storage under the rear seat.
What's not so good:
Build quality is terrible for this price. The plastics are probably sourced from China, and they look like they found a 3rd grade recycler for the raw material.
The metal work feels like a tin can.
The boot won't shut easily
The horn sounds like a child's hooter
No storage in the rear doors - just the one bottle holder in the central armrest
