Good but Not a better choice now a days.. Review on Hero Honda Passion Plus

Im an ardent fan of Hero Honda..so bought a Passion plus in september 2006..but im not satisfied by its performance and service..The reasons are as follows:

1. Poor pickup (No improvement in pickup even after 3rd service)

2. Poor mileage even with poor pickup (Honda shine gives >=60 kmpl though it is 125 cc)

3. Poor Head light

4. Poor service

5. No self start and any gear start which is very useful in traffic

Apart from looks, any rider expects pickup and mileage from any bike..But Passion plus offers none..except looks. I havent got a mileage of above 55 kmpl in this 8 months..although I dont cross a speed of 50 kmph( Economic as mentioned by the company). also the **pickup is very pathetic** when we need to go in doubles..

Head light **lighting is poor** which I know before buying itself..but im not aware of its pickup n mileage..which came as a surprise to me..i have expected 60-65 kmpl but in vain

Also from service point of view, any showroom service men are not at all bothered with our complaints or greivances may be bcoz of  Hero honda's reputation n their well established ness .

My bikes plug is defective and resulted in poor functioning of the engine and I lost initial riding pleasure in the first 2 weeks itself. ofcourse, I got replaced the  plug in warranty..

so, frens, I suggest **Honda shine** than Passion Plus as it gives **excellent pickup** , **more than 55 kmpl** though it is a **125 cc bike.  that too with nearly same price tag of Passion Plus ..

*Also, Honda shine has very good useful features like **self start **and **Tuff up tube** where electric start comes in handy in city riding and **Tuffup tube** helps us to **ride 10 kms after puncture without damaging the tyre and tube. Disk brake is another optional. *
