Not Recommended! HDFC has gone from okay to awful. Their online banking system fails each time I use it.
Customer service struggle against inept coding of their back end.
HDFC also changes the customer's password every few months, so you'll never remember this. Western banks regard security of customer accounts as their own responsibility, not something the customers must take care of!
It's odd that a large, high profile, private Indian bank should strive to be so poorly serving its customers.
