I want to share my experience with Gomechanic, Initially I was very excited about this platform as I assume that they provide showroom like service experience with nominal charges but soon it became false. I booked annual car service along with deep cleaning and throttle cleaning which charged me 7300 rupees. The pickup was late by 2 hours and person was unprofessional, less experience and less bothered about pain points. I received my car post service on the same day but car was full of wetmud as it was raining, I thought engine servicing would have done properly. No empathy showed by pick up person even my car is completely dirty. The problem started 2 days of servicing. There was a noisy rare right wheel when I drove car for 2 kilometres. I raised complaint to Gomechanic, they assured me issue get resolve in 24 hours. Even after 2 days nobody called me, I visited the Gomechanic car garage which serviced my car to check the issue. They taken for test drive and told me bearing issue without checking. When I asked to check he rejected and told he had 45 years of experience and he worked in foreign countries as car mechanic. They asked me to replace new bearings worth 8000 rupees. But I was not convinced because my car was absolutely fine without any issue before service. So I wanted to check in showroom service centre. When I checked with them I got to know that break lining was not installed properly. They immediately fixed it without charges. Coming to Gomechanic customer service, even after 10 days I did not receive any call, nobody bothered about my issue, not even single mail response from them.
Few points to note:
I have seen lot of fake reviews in website, please do not fall into reviews.
I have seen lot of reviews similar to me, this review might be helpful for them.
The mechanic in garage, simply stupid. Without checking coming to conclusive part of issue.
Gomechanic simply want money (quick rich scheme) without listening customer concerns.
I categorize this company as fraud company seeing the customer service.
If you want to damage your engine with car parts you can go for Gomechanic.
Finally, Gomechanic customer is a company which charges high price from customers for cheap useless garage service.
