Goibibo is a site and an app that helps you book tickets be it hotels or air fare at a cheap price and gives cashback too. But dont be fooled by what they tell. One should always compare at all and then take a rational decision.
When I booked the tickets through goibibo I was very happy that I got discount and more importantly cashback which could be used in my next booking. I did not even compare with other sites because no body gave so much of cashback. So the first time was done. When again I had to purchase a ticket I thought that I have so much of cashback and that my tickets could be booked at a cheaper price. But all my happiness was gone when I saw that inspite of having so much of caahback I could use only Rs 200 per transaction. So 200 less on a ticket of 6000 was nothing.
After seeing the reality I compared my ticket prices at other sites and came to know that it was not so much cheaper as they claimed but the prices were almost the same!
So as a customer I felt a bit deceived. I would warn everybody to read terms very carefully and understand what is not written to stop being fooled. Now I have so much of cashback in my account but I am not able to use them because I always find the booking cheaper at other places. And my happiness waa only a one and first time case.
