For a long time I wondered why there isn't one online local community network for India, where one can seek or share any information relevant to a particular city or locality.
Recently I came across this site (GlogBlog) https://glogblog.com. Seemed to have finally answered my quest. It provides a simple, easy to use and perfect platform for exchange of all local information. Previously the only other medium that I used for local information seeking or sharing was my official or social mailing lists.
But then that pretty much limited the audience reach and also I had to bear the burden of spams. GlogBlog is a great alternative for that. And that too it helps reach the larger local community at one place. The only issue is that it is in a pretty nascent stage. I think they have launched recently. And can help from a lot many posts from users.
But then it can prove really indispensable in the due course of time. And the good thing is it is all free. They believe information should never come with a price.
I strongly recommend this to all indian users for all kinds of information sharing.
