This high rated IMDB showed its excellence and proved one of its best historical drama movie. The movie started with a heroic deed by General Maximus who lead Romans to victory over Germans.
Emperor tells Maximus to be the king and save Rome from corruption rather than his son Commodus who later in anger kills his father and asks Maximus for his loyalty who disagrees and later this cruel man kills Maximus family.
Maximus is trained as an gladiator with his friend named Juba and Hagen who later took his revenge of his family and emperor.This movie conveys the message that how for name and fame anybody can avenge with their family no matter how much they are being loved. I recommend everyone to watch this movie.
