Book- Give Your Heart A Break

Author- @anujtiwariofficial

Publisher- @rupa_publications

Rating- 4.8/5 .

.

Our review- A cocktail of intricate human emotions and is definitely an out of box endeavour to show love between siblings. "This is the beauty of a family- INDESTRUCTIBLITY."

~Quote from the book

#Strengths-

Story is like sailing in high tide ocean of emotion where at one point you feel the novel is gripped in the unfortunate marriage of Addya the story drifts very lightly and with adequate pace into the mutual understanding which siblings share. ?Once I started the novel I felt it's an old experiment of narration of author's struggle in building a career and reaching to horizon but the narration swifts and reveals the bitterness of old and ugly indian marriage tradition.

Which leaves many daughters, sisters and friends to physical abuse and even marital rapes. The novel here raises a serious issue which I admire the most.

Also the story doesn't drags a character unnecessarily.

It starts with Dimpy aunty who is very much like an aunty in every family who is very light mooded and happening and checks into buisness not just their family but everyone else's in a positive way.

Then comes Agastya, little later but whose characterisation I loved the most. He is the kind of person who sacrifices his world to keep his sister's world happy and comfortable.

Later the spice is sprayed with advent of Tarjani, an old college aquintance of Agastya who also happens to like her straight from the college days.

Wrapped in fun, feelings and strong social message.

#Target readers- No obscene literature, every sect of society must read this as it's high time to leave mundane traditional customs and today's generation must learn to speak up rather than suffer.

#Target age- Any 12 the pass can read and understand it easily. I won't say the author has used tough words impact choice of words are the beauty of this novel.

#Writing style- Style is narrative most of the times and narration keeps on changing with the commencement of different characters.

#Genre- Contemporary Fiction, Drama.

I leave further story for your own good time of turning.
