Genie Cabs is the new offing from Meru Cabs to provide cost effective cab services; perhaps on the lines of Olacabs Mini service in Bangalore.
I am sorely disappointed with the consummate unprofessional service of Genie, right on the first interaction on booking: 24860911 made on 22nd Feb 2014- at 7:06 PM for 23rd Feb 2014 for a pick-up at 9:30 am.
Genie has failed to:
provide the cab on time
provide proactive and authentic information on the cab availability
inform me of the non-availability of the cab despite the booking being made atleast 18hrs in advance and after the confirmation of the booking
provide sufficient space on the web to provide the feedback
provide the cab even after postponement of the timeline after 3 instances
recognize the importance of the timeliness for the consumer
even send a cancellation confirmation by sms
send the sms with the cab details even way beyond the pick-up time
Please shut down the operations if you folks cannot deliver the basic service and with such a pathetic customer orientation devoid of any sensitivities to the time value of the meetings and commitments.
Neither the systems are in place nor the fleet seems to have been ready to provide any service to the consumer; dont whittle away the brand equity of Meru with this lousy service.
