Many times, like many householders, I need a safety valve against emergency.
Like life, our many household items are equally precious - car, computer, house.
But, being naive I hardly understand basics of insurance policy.
Therefore, when an elderly insurance agent - a close kin - guided me about GIC, I became impressed.
For a small premium- let us say 1500; a policy buyer can insure his /valuable item like laptop( Rs30, 000). Now, in case(God forbid) some thing untoward happens; an insured item will certainly get reimbursement from GIC.
It is safe as it is a public insurance company and far more safe.
All prospective customers are guided about pros and cons of their policy.
Like many policy buyers; I can stay in constant touch with my insurance advisor.
I am amazed to find out that a customer can insure any thing of importance- bicycle, a painting, a piece of furniture.
I am also impressed with good customer care being provided by GIC- which was not the case earlier.
In nutshell; I am impressed with GIC!
