It is capital of Gujarat state. It is 30 KM from Ahmedabad(old capital).
The ceannest city in Gujarat.The panning is somehow like Chandigadh.
Places to visit-
(1) Axar Porushottam Swamininarayan(BAPS) temple at sector-20(there are 30 sectors). It has exhibition,musical religious fountain,garden,temple & food corners.One must visit this temple.It takes about full day to see it.It is very clean & calm.
(2) Sachivalay(Seretariate of Gujarat Governement) & Vidhansabha( Essembly) . One must visit in February & March(when Essembly is is session).it can be visited with entry pass and permission on the spot.Essembly works from Monday to friday(Friday is morning time)
(3) Indroda Nature Park is at CH-0 bus stand. It is big & worth seeing.
(4) Mahatma Mandir is near railway station and sachilavaya. It is Bigest event & exhibition entire in Gujarat.Now Vibrant Globle Sumit-2017 is being conducting now.
There is city bus service.But it does not cover whole city.Therefore one has to visit with own or hired vehicals.One also ensure that there is no Government Big Function or agitation or rally by public on his /her visit day, otherwise it may difficult to enter or move smoothly in city.
One must visit for minimum for two days & one night in this city.
