*I went with my daughter on a Sunday to watch watch movie in G7 multiplex. The only reason I went to the G7** **was because this movie was running only there. I did not expect any issues with the tickets as the movie was about 10 weeks old. Incidentally I called up their telephone nos. in the morning but none were responding.
But when I reached there the movie was reportedly sold out. I thought it odd because the movie is so old. But than looking at the environment near the theatre my daughter was not keen. She was quite perturbed watching the touts around and the other reviewers are right, the parking lot is horribly small and congested.
And after years I saw a familiar sight of touts selling doughs of tickets in black. It was amazing to see him go "Shoutout ka dedhso.Shoutout ka dedhso". It was not that he was doing that in some side alleyways, he was doing that right in front of the ticket windows, which incidentally were all closed as all the shows in(all 7 theatres) were house full!
The only reason I can think of why the owners / management of this particular theatre would not want to convert into typical multiplex and sell there tickets through the web would be because they quite benefit from all the black business!
I hope we as consumers can make a big dent by not frequenting such cinema halls. The Movie time theatre just outside the road from G7 seems a better option*
