Horrendous experience. Review on Fast Rental

I found fastrental.co on doing a Google search for self drive cars in Goa. After filling their booking form, their sales team reached out multiple times in a day asking me to complete the booking. On finalising the booking, it took them over a day to send me the booking confirmation, but that was still ok.

I landed in Goa and my misfortunes began. The booking manager (Nelson) assigned by this company was running his own agency and it seemed like Fastrental had just passed it on as a lead. Nelson gave me a driver's number and rudely asked me to coordinate with him. Driver however kept asking me to wait some more and that he was just 15 mins away. It took almost 10 calls to different people involved for me to finally see the car after 1 hour.

Car was beat up, unwashed, full of scratches and dents. On expressing my displeasure, the driver said he will pay me for getting the car washed. I was tired from the overnight flight and left with the car in the state that it was.

Returning the car was another ordeal. I had to drop it at the MOPA airport. Nelson, who was supposed to be my booking manager, again very rudely told me to coordinate with the driver and not him as he doesn't know which vehicle was given to whom. The driver now gives me another guy's number, Saabir, who will collect the car on his behalf, and that I should coordinate with him.

Saabir is the rudest person I've spoken to who blatantly tells me that he doesn't have time to pick it up, I should come 2 hours early and adjust according to his schedule. I make 15-20 calls back and forth to the driver and a new person Rafiq bhai, I have no idea who he was but I was given his number. Saabir now wants me to pick him up on my way to the airport along with my wife and luggage in the car. When I say no, he throws another fit and says he won't come otherwise.

Now Rafiq bhai assures me I won't have to pick up Saabir. And so, I start my hour long drive to the airport. Within mins, I get inundated by calls from Saabir who now wants my live location and demands to know exactly how long I will take to reach. I reach the airport and this disheveled person shows up who's as aggressive as he's uneducated. He starts by saying the car is dirty and that he would have to get it washed, as if that's something he can charge me for. The audacity to give me a dirty car and then try to charge me for it. He tried a Little more to make some extra money off me, saying that I caused some scratches, pretending to be on a call and confirming with someone that my deposit was ? under what I had paid ( ?) , all while scratching his balls, his head and spitting on the ground. Finally relented and paid my deposit back. All this while, fastrental.co was missing in action. Stopped answering my calls and messages and just blindly sent me a pre formatted message.

I have vowed to never ever ever book any cars online before landing in Goa. Fastrental.co deserves 0 stars.
