I already had aquaguard 3 stage classic water filter. But due tosuspected polluted water supply of around 400TDS in our society at new place in ghaziabad, selected this product RO MAXIMA UV+MTDS
When RO is used onlt 5% TDS remains.Meanign I woyld get only 20 TDS water whch is unsafe and baisc problems of RO filters .ITis dangerous with so low ppm . So what RO makers did put a bypass valve on RO memberane to directly add back non RO water in final delivery .Thus TDS coud be adjusted. Though they call it MTDS as if some system is there inside but there is nothing except a small adjustable valve. In fact this was main point to purchase. But after 2-3 months when I measured TDS it was 30-40 range only. Despite setting valve several times every time after 3-5 days TDS would fall to 30-40 range or even low meaning valve gets clogged soon by some particles or air .
The product was bought on 31-3-2019 form Delhi office through a dealer. Even complain in warrnaty was not attended.
Despite several complaints no one tried to rectify it .The core defect making product useless for me. A technician of local franchisee would come and set valve. But no result .Even mails to MD and CEO customer service failed.Refused refund.Lying as junk.The company has fallen tonew lows with profteering bad product and refusal of service. Tr to avoid this compnay .I am going to consumer court to recover my money and damages.Negligence in matter of drinking water is shocking.I am engineer with 45 years record and was existing customer of this compnay which was once upon a time good. better avoid their products.
