I had a Aquaguard UV filter which was connected to two water sources. One to the bore-well and other to the municipal water supply. Unfortunately the municipal water supply did not meet the pressure requirements for the filter and I had to use the bore-well water most of the time. Since the TDS quantity was high, the water tasted salty. So I decided to get a RO system from Aquaguard(which I regret now). I got Aquaguard's TOTAL SENSA installed yesterday(the technician did not turn up on time). After installation I was instructed to drain the filtered water in the collection tank twice. The technician left after allowing the water to collect. After sometime the filtration process stopped(the collecting tank was half full). The filter was in "Intel" mode. I found out filtering started only after switching to manual "RO+
UV" mode. The "UV+UF" mode also does not work. As per the representative who gave the demo and the technician, the intel mode will "sense" the water and decide on the filtering mode automatically. But in my case, the Intel mode does not seem to work. I called up the technician who installed the purifier, he asked me to call the help line. I have logged a complaint there but I am promised service only tomorrow. In between I am left with unclean water to drink. First of all I regret trusting Eureka Forbes. I have 3 products from EF. I was disappointed when I purchased the first filter as the personnel did not guide correctly on the type of filter I was supposed to choose and the second filter does not seems to work. The build quality of the filter also seems to be very poor. The tap release lever when released touches the board on which illuminating LEDs are placed. Overall I am unhappy with the filter. I should have opted for some other brands like Kent. My Rs 18K seems to have gone waste. I would definitely not recommend any products from Eureka Forbes.
