If you want to get basic or medium level knowledge about any topic instantly then edx is best for you. Because you can apply for any course and start to learning from that time with free of cost. But if you want to get certificate then you must need to pay. In Coursera you can learn from the course and get certificate free of cost but for this need to apply for financial aid form and your application approved after 15 days and you must need to wait for 15 days to start course. So on the behalf my advice for you that you want to learn instantly then edx is best website for you. Teachers have great knowledge about those topic which they taught you.
