This is the only donut place in the entire world which prides itself on being egg free. I have tasted a lot of doughnuts from cheap bakeries to more expensive ones and most of those doughnuts have satisfied me but I am disappointed that a place that called itself donut house provided me with substandard donuts. When I tasted the doughnuts they tasted like stale bread to me, I first thought that these were old ones but they felt pretty warm.
Then it occurred to me as they are a pure veg bakery they had not added eggs to the batter that is the reason why they taste stale, they must've added some vegetarian condiments to make the donut fluffy but they did not do so.
I understand the need to pander to the pure vegetarian sections pouring into chennai but this unpardonable. Ambience was good, good music was played, furniture looked decent, good parking facilities, cost was little bit on the higher side but would have been justifiable if the doughnuts tasted good but they did not taste good. I visited this place back in January 2013 but if the situation has changed here intimate me through the comments I will write another review.
