No doubt, Don was an interesting movie to watch. The action was first class and Shah Rukh was brilliant. Rest of the actors were ok ok. Farhan Akhtar said he has made this firm for intelligen people, who think. So I too started to think after seeing the movie and found not so perfect a movie.
First of all, if the Don who returned back was the real don, then why he had to act as if he had lost his memory? He had no reason to act in front of his own people. And then, why he had to be in touch with the police officer and give him the CD? He also informed the police about the arrival of his boss. Does not make sense.
And then, you miss two diffent personalities of Don, that Amitabh displayed so amezingly in the original. You feel the limitation of Shah Rukh's acting here but you realise later why.
On the whole, the movie moved away from the norms and showed triumph of Evil over good. And that I thought was not a good thing to see for our kids who love Shah Rukh, and will not hesitate to follow him. And that too on the eve of Diwali, which marks the Triumph of Good over Evil. Sad...
But should you see the movie? Yes... a well made movie with good twists in the story and great action. Welcome back to Action... Shah Rukh... You were brilliant.
