First of all I have to make this clear to our readers that this property isn't exactly in Nainital,
the location is just 7 km uphill from kathgodam station, that makes it around 28kms before the Lake town of Nainital.
The Place is visible from the main Road which leads to Nainital, Just a few steps down from their reception area lies the beautiful and nicely landscaped lawns with swiss tents with walking strip leading to the swimming pool, surrounded by hills and greens.
Yes a well maintained swimming pool to keep you busy leaving all your blues aside :) though the area is a bit small but the way in which its managed is unique they offer you a basket ball rink a pool/billiards room a pool full of fishes and ducks/geese for our young guns and yes the kind off food they offer us is simply fantastic, limited menu without any frills.
It's purely like eating at home only...
Rooms are decent size & clean though they lack in the ultimate comfort but then at around 4 Grands on MAP you can't get the Sky
The only drawback is that you have to commute/shuttle in between all the places of tourist interests.
For the benefit of our readers here are some references, which could be useful for the first timers
just few kms before say around 3.5 kms we have UDUPI WALA famous for the south Indian veg food
and a lilttle furher away from the Station we have Brownies one stop shop for your taste buds thay serve some very good pastries, Pizzas, burgers and some chines dishes as well....Wood peckers is yet another lovely place for breakfast and off course there is Vatika garden for those lovely evenn [note these all places are before this resorts in kathgodam}
If you plan for a day sight seeing by car then please go to the Station and hire from the prepaid..they are safe n decently priced
