In my home I have two DTH connection one is Dishtv and another one is Airtel. I am using dish TV since 2 years and I am very disappointed with their service and response.
Coming to channel packages, the number of packs they are providing is good enough as compare to other DTHs but picture quality is really bad.
Second, the main problem is Dish TV is their set-top box. It is very bad. The set up box disconnects and restarts automatically after watching it continuously for more than 2-3 hours. I had registered complaint on dishtv customer care and one of the representative came to my home he suggested me to replace the setup box. So I payed Rs 500 for new setup box and their service charge Rs 150 which is total of Rs 650/-.
But after using it for few months the same problem arises again. from that day my trust gone on dishtv and I switched to Airtel Dth. As I have used Airtel Dth more than 5 years I can give a guarantee that it is far better than Dish TV. Its service is better and quick.
I will never recommend Dishtv to anyone.
