Being a Female, I would say
Pros are :
DMRC offers you a timely , & comfortable transport within delhi.
It gives probability for ladies to have a seat as first coach is reserved.
Regular announcements make you comfortable in travelling . Good job DMRC
Even by chance if you travel a station more than the destined one, you can still come back without spending a penny extra.
Phase 3 and 4 plan are great waiting for it.
Salary for staff is good enough but should be increased for security guards.
Cons are
If you have made an entry in a station and you realise that you need to cancel your trip then you have to pay fine plus Rs 8. Its certianly not good for me but they say its for security.
You dont have good frequency after 11 pm.
Most of the times ladies dont travel after 10 Pm but because first coach is reserved it goes empty. Other male passengers get pissed off unnecessarily. DMRC could improve this situation by putting two security guards in first coach and allowing male passenegers to sit in first coach after 11 pm.
Considering population in delhi, 6 coach metro doesnt seem to be enough. All trains should have 8 coaches.
Job in metro is secure for this generation atleast if not on contract but cant say much on this.
I have heard soon.management of metro network will be given back to indians
This might create few permanent jobs soon but that will happen only successful completion of phase 4 in 2022 23.
