Metro is a life to the people of Delhi. It carrys over 6 lakhs people from one part to the other daily. Metro connects very well to almost all the parts of Delhi including the National Capital Region.
Delhi traffic is a nightmare especially during office hours and travelling by metro is not only time saving buy also it's cheaper and economical. You just have to pay between Rs 8 to Rs 30 which is the maximum fare. Not only this you get to travel in ac compartment and moreover if you have smart card which is introduced by Delhi metro you also save 10? on the total fare.
Though because of Delhi's population trains are over crouded but you will still find this to be more convinent. Trains are available every within 5 mins.
