I have used many toothpastes earlier, including Colgate, Pepsodent, Babool, Patanjali Dant kanti, Dabur Red and Closeup. I would definitely rate Meswak the best of these.


This keeps mouth fresh day long, without chance of bad breath.  It has a mild pleasant flavor. I haven't had mouth ulcers since I started using this one. I have been using this for almost 3 years now. They were frequent when I was using Colgate, Pepsodant and Closeup.


Ranking of toothpastes according to me:

  1. Meswak

  2. Dabur Red

  3. Patanjali Dant Kanti

  4. Babool

  5. Pepsodent, Colgate

  6. Closeup

This is just based on my experience with these.
